<div>Hi, I’m Freya — a solo sailor, mental health speaker, and survivor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last year, I set sail alone from Milford Haven, Wales, on a journey to circumnavigate the UK and Ireland by Sail
</div>
<div>I was 21, sailing a small boat, and carrying a big weight — a story of survival, healing, and fighting to stay alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I made it to Peterhead, Scotland. That was the halfway point.
</div>
<div>This summer, I’m going back to finish what I started — and I’m doing it not just for me, but for everyone who's ever felt like they were sinking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why I'm Fundraising</strong>
</div>
<div>I’m raising funds to complete the final leg of my journey. This summer, I’m setting out on the second half of the trip: from Peterhead to the Orkneys, through the Hebrides, down the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland, and back home to Neyland.
</div>
<div>I’m asking for support to help cover the essential costs of this next leg:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Safety equipment
</li>
<li>Mooring fees
</li>
<li>Food and supplies
</li>
<li>Emergency contingencies
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But here’s the important part:
</div>
<div>Any funds raised beyond what’s necessary for the voyage will be donated directly to Mind, the mental health charity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mind’s work is crucial – they provide life-saving support and campaign for better mental health services. I’m proud to use this platform not just to fund the sail, but to give back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ll be completely transparent throughout. I’ll share donation receipts and regular updates so you can see where your support is going — both at sea and on land.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What This Journey Means.
</div>
<div>This isn’t just a sailing trip. It’s a message:
</div>
<ul>
<li>That it's possible to rebuild your life after crisis
</li>
<li>That adventure and survival can go hand-in-hand
</li>
<li>And that young women can do hard, brave, beautiful things — even when they’ve been through hell
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Donate any amount — big or small, it all helps
</li>
<li>Share this fundraiser with your friends, community, and anyone who needs to hear this story
</li>
<li>Follow the journey online and keep up with my blog, photos, and updates from the water
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
