Said Goodbye to my Abuser - We Need a Push

So we have come to an end, my abuser and I. And in that end, I have been strapped with a lot of debt I was not prepared for. Some may say I should have waited. I had four job interviews lined up the following week. One more month of having her control your finances would have been fine... but no.

It’s World Mental Health Day and I am here to tell you that I made the best decision of my life for my own health and the health of my family. We just need a push while we pick up the pieces. I know times are hard for everyone right now but even the smallest bit helps at this point. Reaching the goal would be great but anything will do. I need to cover gas money, phone, rent, and car insurance and payment until my husband and I are working in earnest.

He is doing DoorDash at the moment and looking for something better. I have three job interviews and a possible job offer this coming week. We want nothing more than to stand on our own two feet. Letting go of this dangerous person was the only way we could get it done right. I thank you in advance for understanding that we are not looking for a hand out. We literally just need to get to November when working finally picks up for us and we can do this on our own.
