Sage’s Emergency C-Section Surgery
If you know me, you know how much my dog means to me. Sage and I have been inseparable since I first picked her up. From rollerblading together, traveling and hiking together, moving states, experiencing having a baby with sage around, there’s no doubt that she’s my best friend.
Sage got pregnant with my friend’s dog. Ii was something that we were so excited about. When Sage was ready to have puppies, things made a turn for the worst. 2 were born but the bloated belly she still had seemed suspicious. I took her to the vet 24 hours after and received the news I could believe.
7 puppies are stuck inside of Sage with slim to no chance of being alive. I’m taking this loss with a broken heart but I don’t think I’d know how to live a normal life again something happens with Sage.
Sage needs emergency surgery. This situation is grave and threatening Sage’s life. If she doesn’t get this surgery tonight, she will probably not live. The thought of this has me so torn. I have no words to express how important Sage is to me and my family. She was my family before I built the one I have now. My daughters first word was Dog learning by being obsessed with Sage. Sage is part of our family and I see her like she’s my own child
Please help sage see another day. Anything helps. Even if it’s $1 or $5. Please
