I'm a photographer, DJ, & whatever else I dream to be. I was born in San Diego, California, but moved to Houston around when I was 10 years old. I currently reside in Austin, TX as of recently. I've dedicated my entire life to being the multidisciplinary being that I've grown into today.
Last year, I made the risky, but fulfilling, decision to go full-time w/ my creative endeavors. Although it isn't the traditional route to take, I took it any way & I don't regret the decision I made to do so. Since then I've accomplished so many of things that it overwhelms me sometimes how much life can work in your favor if you just simply believe in the journey & your process.
This Winter, I will have the opportunity to go on my first full-length, month long, tour with SaturdaySelects & BZAR in ASIA from late November to late December. Yes, Asia. It has always been a dream of mine to travel and do what I love in a variety of different places & spaces, especially overseas. Last year I got a taste of what that felt like for a few days, but this time its way bigger & way more lengthy, & I couldn't be more honored.
With that being said, the fact that it is more lengthy & has more to it, causes the need for more money than I can independently invest at the moment.
In the words of my brother Khary, "Why pretend like I'm ballin'... IT'S EXPENSIVE FAM."
From flights to food, housing, & much more, tour can quickly put an independent artist in the hole. I've estimated that it will cost about 2K to bring this dream to life on a bare minimum level and it took me a while to swallow my pride to even create this campaign.
Risks come with life. They are nothing new to me. I've put years into this & have always invested in myself without being seasoned in that department & I've only gotten better with trouble shooting.
All I ask is for a little help, & if you're reading this, I appreciate you even taking the time to see what this is all about. Even if you can't donate, pass this along.
