I am currently living/recovering from lyme disease and enviornmental illness. I have been severely ill since i was 19 and am now 30 and by the grace of family, friends and strangers I am still alive!
2 years ago I became deathly ill with black mold poisoning diagnose with common variable immune deficiency and became hypersensitive to all indoor spaces and chemicals. I lived for almost 2 years in the desert, homeless and in cars in harsh conditions while very very ill...I was lucky enough to have care takers to take me to doctors hours away. I have been living in a metal box trailer in the desert which has provided me the shelter to move along further in my healing so that I can now move to a safe apartment in Los Angeles. My caretaker situation is changing and since I don't drive because of cognitive issues I need to be close to doctors and to be able to get myself around using public transport. It is imperative for my health to have access to doctors as well as to live in housing with amenities such as regular shower, toilet and heating which I do not have in the desert. I am fundraising to be able to afford moving to Los Angeles, medical treatments there and to pay rent in this safe apartment which is in itself a medical treatment. I am also selling original artwork as well as mailing art prints in return to anyone who donates.
