**Urgent Appeal for Help: North East Sporting Club Needs Your Support to Build Fences**
North East Sporting Club, based in Wallsend, is home to 14 teams — 2 adult teams and 12 junior teams, with over 150 players and 25 coaches. We are passionate about supporting young athletes, but we are facing ongoing challenges in keeping our facilities safe and accessible for all.
Just this week, our 7v7 pitch was destroyed by vandals, causing games to be canceled and ruining the pitch for months. Sadly, this was not the first incident. On the 9v9 pitch, a motorbike was recently set on fire, and the Fire Brigade had to be called in to attend, also destroying the playing surface.
These senseless acts have a direct impact on our players, especially the younger ones who are missing out on weekend football.
Additionally Each week, our dedicated coaches have to clear dog waste from the pitches, and we've dealt with numerous incidents of vandalism targeting the pitches.
Good news though, we finally have permission from North Tyneside Council to safeguard the site by erecting suitable fencing
If you or your business can advise, donate, or assist in any way to help us fund the fencing, we would be incredibly grateful. Your support will make a significant difference in protecting the future of grassroots football in our community.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can make a positive change for our communities players both young and old
Let’s work together to keep our pitches safe and ensure the next generation of players has the opportunity to thrive.
