Safe the puppies!

We are Till and Júlia, and this summer we travelled to Morocco. Although we had other plans, once we came across with 4 puppies, our trip changed quite a bit. 

After checking with locals and keeping an eye on them for a few days, we made sure that they had no mother. They were really cold because they didn’t have any shelter, they had fleas, and tourists were overfeeding them with wrong food, so we decided to do something about this situation. 

We brought them to a vet in Agadir to vaccinate them and give them something against ticks and fleas. The rest of the day we spent searching and checking for animal refuges where they could stay, but all of them were overfilled and taking care of ill dogs. We gave one of them to Bihi, a local man who adopted her nicely in a good place. 

About the other three, we came up with the idea of bringing them to the EU and finding families for them! 

For being able to bring them, they need a blood test, to be chipped, and other specific vaccinations. The whole process takes 4-5 months. In the meantime, we will pay for a temporary animal refugee from Renata, she will keep and take care of them. 

We need to reach 3.100€ that includes the rent of the refugee, the rest of the vaccinations + blood test + chip (350€ for each) and transport (carried by us). 

Every donation is welcomed. We need your help. 

Our goal is to give them a better life and make people conscious of the current situation with street dogs in some parts of the world.

Hey!

Wir sind Till und Júlia, und diesen Sommer sind wir nach Marokko gereist. Wir hatten eigentlich andere Pläne, aber als wir auf 4 Welpen gestoßen sind, hat sich unsere Reise ganz schön verändert.

Nachdem wir uns bei den Einheimischen erkundigt und sie ein paar Tage im Auge behalten hatten, stellten wir fest, dass sie keine Mutter hatten. Sie froren sehr, weil sie keinen Unterschlupf hatten, sie hatten Flöhe und wurden von den Touristen mit falschem Futter überfüttert, also beschlossen wir, etwas zu unternehmen.

Wir brachten sie zu einem Tierarzt in Agadir, um sie zu impfen und ihnen etwas gegen Zecken und Flöhe zu geben. Den Rest des Tages verbrachten wir damit, nach Tierheimen zu suchen, in denen sie untergebracht werden konnten, aber alle waren überfüllt und kümmerten sich nur um kranke Hunde.

Wir haben einen von ihnen an Bihi, einen Einheimischen, der sie an einem guten Ort unterbrachte gegeben.

Für die anderen drei kamen wir auf die Idee, sie in die EU zu bringen und Familien für sie zu finden!

Um sie mitnehmen zu können, muss ein Bluttest gemacht werden, sie müssen gechipt sein und andere spezielle Impfungen erhalten. Das ganze Verfahren dauert 4-5 Monate.

In der Zwischenzeit werden wir Renata ein Tierheim bezahlen, in dem sie vorübergehend untergebracht sind, dort wird sich um die Tiere gut gekümmert.

Wir benötigen 3.100 €, die die Miete für das Tierheim Renata, die restlichen Impfungen + Bluttest + Chip (350 € für jeden) und den Transport (von uns getragen) umfassen.

Unser Ziel ist es, ihnen ein besseres Leben zu ermöglichen und die Menschen auf die aktuelle Situation der Straßenhunde in einigen Teilen der Welt aufmerksam zu machen.

Hola!

Som el Till i la Júlia, i aquest estiu hem viatjat al Marroc.

Tot i que teníem altres plans, quan ens vam trobar amb 4 cadells, el nostre viatge va canviar complement.

Després de consultar amb els habitants i vigilar-los durant uns dies, vam comprovar que no tenien mare. Tenien molt fred perquè no tenien cap refugi, tenien puces i els turistes els estaven sobrealimentant amb menjar incorrecte, així que vam decidir fer actuar sobre aquesta situació.

Els vam portar a un veterinari d'Agadir per vacunar-los i donar-los els medicaments adients en contra les paparres i les puces. La resta del dia vam estar buscant i comprovant refugis d'animals on poguessin quedar-se, però tots estaven massa plens i se centraven en la cura dels gossos malalts. Vam regalar un d'ells a Bihi, un home local que va adoptar a una d'elles en un bon lloc.

Sobre les altres tres, vam pensar portar-les a Europa i trobar una família per cada una d'elles!

Per poder portar-les, necessitem una anàlisi de sang, que els hi facin el xip i altres vacunes específiques. Tot el procés dura 4-5 mesos. Mentrestant, pagarem el lloguer d'un refugi d'animals a càrrec de la Renata, ella els cuidarà temporalment.

Hem d'arribar a 3.100 €. Tot això inclou: el lloguer del refugi, la resta de vacunes + anàlisi de sang + xip (350 € per cadascun) i transport (ens encarregarem nosaltres).

El nostre objectiu és donar-los una vida millor i conscienciar la gent de la situació actual dels gossos de carrer en algunes parts del món.
