Safe Space Sessions Live Stream

Safe Space Sessions is a direct response to all the sexual allegations coming out of the California music scene, a lot of bands were exposed for using their platform to coerce underaged fans and even stories of sexual abuse/rape. A group of us in Miami got together to talk about how we could change our music scene knowing this kind of injustice happens all the time. This project is an effort to make sure people of any age, race, or sexual expression have a welcoming environment to enjoy live music and make new friends. SSS will be raising funds for charities that help sexual abuse survivors nationally (RAINN) & locally through a live-streamed concert series but we need some equipment to make it happen. The money being raised on gofundme will go towards our gear, registering as a non profit and Facebook/Instagram ads; part of the money will also go towards renting out the venues that the live streams will be hosted at. As active artists ourselves it hurts to see venues shutting down due to corona virus, we want to keep our music scene alive and safe! We look forward to working together with venues, artists and patrons to create an open community where all are welcome :)
