As women, as caretakers, and as momma bears, we’re standing up to defend and protect our children and the children of our communities. When our families are in fear, we move together — fiercely, quietly, and with love.

LXMV is temporarily pausing parts of our luxury operation to launch the Safe Rides for Our Families Initiative — a citywide effort to provide safe, discreet school transportation for families impacted by ICE activity in high-risk neighborhoods.

Our Immediate Action

We’ve already activated one LXMV vehicle from our fleet to begin offering school drop-offs and pickups for children whose parents are undocumented or too afraid to drive.

But one car can only reach a few families per day.

With your help, we’ll build a small fleet of Sprinter vans to safely and quietly transport dozens of children each morning and afternoon — focusing on neighborhoods without school buses or where ICE patrols have been spotted.

Each ride will include a warm breakfast in the morning and a warm snack on the ride home, because safety isn’t just about getting there — it’s about caring for our children like family.

Where Your Donations Go

Every dollar raised will go directly toward expanding and sustaining this community-led safety network:

✅ Leasing and insuring additional Sprinter vans through LXMV’s partnership

✅ Covering fuel, charging, and maintenance

✅ Outfitting vans with GPS and emergency communication systems

✅ Coordinating routes, scheduling, and family sign-ups

✅ Expanding to additional neighborhoods citywide

✅ Launching a confidential community hotline for ride requests and volunteer coordination

✅ Providing daily warm breakfasts and afternoon snacks for all children during pickup and drop-off

LXMV has personally funded the initial launch — including one operating vehicle, insurance, and all administrative setup — so your donations will go entirely toward growing and sustaining the mission.

• Lease and insure up to 4 Sprinter vans

• Serve 100+ children daily across multiple Chicago neighborhoods

• Sustain operations for 6–9 months while building long-term partnerships
