Safe Play Space for 107th St School

For my birthday this year I want to give the 922 kids at 107th Street School in Watts (one of the most high needs elementary schools in LA) the same safe place to play that I'd want for my own kids. They currently have a cracked, painted, asphalt lot as their only place to run, play and exercise at school. Please help me get them the grassy field every kid deserves to play on.

Your donations will fund the asphalt removal, grass installation, and mainenance for this safe and beautiful space moving forward.

Detailed scope of work is as follows:

-          Asphalt removal
-          Removal of asphalt base, soil removal and testing
-          Installation of sprinkler system
-          Trenching for new water service
-          Backfill and pave over the trenching
-          Solar clock so that the sprinklers are on a timer
-          Placement of grass sod
-          Relocation/repainting of  basketball hoops

Thanks for helping me give these amazing kids a safe place to play and learn!
