<div>Aloha friends, family, and kind souls,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am starting this fundraiser as a mother who loves her son deeply and wants to see him thrive. My son, Ebn Wandell, was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 21, and it has been a long and difficult journey. For many years, he has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals and jail, and eventually spent 3 years homeless here on the Big Island of Hawaii. Those were very hard times for him and for our family.

</div>
<div>For the past 8 months, my husband and I took Ebn into our home after the courts were preparing to release him to the streets again—when he could barely walk after 6 months in the mental hospital. During his time with us, he was able to stabilize on his medication, rebuild his strength, and begin to move forward. He is now in a temporary halfway house where he has continued to make progress. While this is a positive step, it is only short-term. He is still waiting for his disability benefits to be approved, and until then he is at serious risk of becoming homeless again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, what Ebn needs most are:
</div>
<div>	•	Safe and stable housing – a place where he can continue his recovery and build a foundation for his future.
</div>
<div>	•	Ongoing therapy and healing support – professional care to help him manage his condition, process his experiences, and move toward independence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As his mother, I will always stand by him, but I cannot meet these needs alone. Every contribution makes a difference and will go directly toward a housing deposit, rent, therapy, and essential living expenses while he waits for his benefits to begin.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign, sending prayers, or holding Ebn in your heart with positivity. Your encouragement matters just as much as financial help.
</div>

<div>✨ The Future You Can Help Create
</div>
<div>With the right support, Ebn has the chance to live a stable and meaningful life. He hopes to reconnect with his creativity, contribute to his community, and, in time, give back to others who are struggling as he once was.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From my heart to yours, thank you for believing in Ebn and his future. Your kindness can help him continue on the path of stability and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>
