<div>Hi everyone, my name is Bri. As many of you know, I am currently eight months pregnant and going through a really difficult situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the end of November, I moved into a new place after dealing with black mold exposure in my previous home. I was so excited for a fresh start—I put a lot of time, effort, and money into fixing up and decorating this new space for myself and my daughter, Tori.
</div>

</div>
<div>However, on December 8, I began noticing a strong odor and reached out to my landlord to ask if there was any history of mold, especially because I’m pregnant and cannot be exposed to it. I also currently manage OCD, anxiety, and depression, which have been affected by mold exposure in the past.
</div>

</div>
<div>Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten worse. The smell has become unbearable, and there is now confirmed mold—possibly black mold—behind the kitchen counters and in the air vents. I’ve been exposed to this for months.
</div>

</div>
<div>My landlord lives in Europe, which has made it difficult to get proper maintenance or timely help. He has now decided he wants to sell the property and is willing to return my deposit, which is not enough for me to make this move due to places requiring first month’s rent, last month’s rent, and a security deposit—something I wasn’t financially prepared for, especially this close to giving birth. As much as I’m working, it has not been easy to upkeep rent, utilities, child care, and all. Although I’ve made it possible, this really hit me in the worst way possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m still working and doing everything I can to prepare, but this situation has been overwhelming and completely unexpected. <strong>With only a few weeks left before my baby arrives, I cannot stay in this environment or bring a newborn into a home with mold exposure.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m reaching out for support during this urgent time. <strong>Anything truly helps and is deeply appreciated as I try to make this move happen before giving birth.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for your kindness and support. ❤️
