Safe Harbour for Ukraine

We are a group of friends in Cork, Limerick, Northern Ireland and Poland who are sending a bus filled with essential supplies from Cork to the Polish/Ukraine border. 

We are working to return with a bus full of 40 women and children displaced because of the war. We are currently seeking accommodation for these people with the help of NASC and friends.

This is a community based project with support from Cronin’s Coaches in Cork, Dennehy Commercials in Limerick, Quinn’s Coaches in Newry and the goodwill of many local people.

Bus drivers from Cronin’s Coaches are giving freely of their time to make this journey and our contact in Poland, Wojciech Wojnar who is currently volunteering with authorities at the Polish border will direct operations from that side. He is giving daily updates on the situation. 

The bus is leaving on 15th March and will return approximately five days later. We are relying on the goodwill of people in Ireland to make this happen. 

Refugees arriving at the Polish/Ukrainian border are tired, hungry and many are sick.  You can help by donating. 100% of your donation will go towards the cost of fuel and supplies for this trip.
