The Shelter has been extended through mid-December which means we need additional funding. We currently have 6 teenagers and a 6 year old (and their mamas) so the grocery budget is high and one of the current guests has a medical condition but no medical benefits. Please consider donating.
After a great three week pilot program in August, the Pacific Beach team is preparing to welcome refugee guests again to stay at Christ Lutheran Church! we are hoping to welcome guests for 26 days in September and October but we need your help! We need funding for more comfortable beds, technology to make communication easier, administrative costs, transportation for guests to programs, food and medical expenses and the list goes on! We are hoping to raise $100 for each day the guests will be here, for a total of $2,600 in the next two weeks! I know we can do it with your help!
