Safe Harbor for the Pinder Family

Like nearly every dwelling at the East End of Grand Bahama, the Pinder Family's homes in McLean's Town were destroyed by Hurricane Dorian. In addition to houses, their boats, cars, and belongings were also taken by the Cat Five storm. Nearly everything is gone.
WE ARE ATTEMPTING TO RAISE $15,000 for our dear friend DAVID PINDER, Sr. -- known as "Senior" in Body of Water, a book I published in 2016 -- and his displaced family, to help them as they attempt to recover from tragedy. (**My name is Chris Dombrowski, and I live in Missoula, Montana.)
As the first, original Bahamian bonefish guide, and the taproot of the islands' ecotourism trade, David Pinder Sr. pointed many an angler toward an actual tailing bonefish, before training two future generations of Bahamian guides. Later, through his words and luminous example, aimed many people toward a deeper way of living in concert with the landscape.
Please join me -- I have made the first donation of $500 -- in support of Senior and his family in this moment of need. All funds raised (after Go Fund Me's fees) will be dispersed to Delcina McIntosh (David Senior's daughter), who will disperse them among the family.
UPDATE: It took us some back and forth with GFM to discover that, since Delcina does not have a Social Security number, Delcina could not, by GFM rules, be the direct beneficiary of these funds. As a stand-in, my father Richard Dombrowski has agreed to serve as the beneficiary, and TO TRANSFER ALL FUNDS RAISED (after GFM fees) to Delcina.
