We are raising money to support the mental health and well-being of Emergency Services, Defence Personnel & Volunteers.
Money raised will help in the development of our Free Peer Support Mobile App for these individuals.
Safe Hands is an initiative of Voice of Health . It is a peer support service that provides online support to all the incredible Emergency Service, Defence and Volunteer Personnel and families that provide for others in times of crisis.
With the current Bushfire Crisis and the ongoing service provided to affected communities, there is an overwhelming need to support and keep safe those who keep us safe. We have been working around the clock and have dedicated all of our resources to create the foundation of this platform and now we are looking for help to make it a reality.
We are developing a unique online mobile peer support service that allows these individuals, their families and friends to reach out and speak to others who have had a similar lived experience.
Anyone can download the application and log in to begin talking to someone who can empathise with them.
The trauma and stress experienced by these personnel can last a lifetime and we are privileged to support them on their journey. We are remembering that these service individuals put their lives and well-being on the line for the sake of our communities.
With your continued support and pledges we aim to expand and provide a service to other affected personnel and individuals in communities and also be the safe hands they need.
There is an extraordinary amount of support to help rebuild the infrastructure and services in the communities affected by the bushfires.
Safe Hands will support and re-build the well-being of those who have so courageously volunteered and donated their time.

What We Want to Achieve
- Develop and deliver the mobile application within 6-8 weeks
- Build relationships with Emergency Services, Defence & Volunteer organisations to ensure their community members have access to the mobile application
Money Raised Goes Towards
- Ensure Emergency Services, Defence Personnel and Volunteers get mental health support during the current Bushfire Crisis
- Provide support to all these individuals/groups on an on-going basis
- Engaging an experienced team to develop and deliver the mobile application
Milestones
- Release the IOS version of the app
- Release the Android version of the app
- Introduce voice call and booking system features to allow users to allocate times to chat
