Sadie's 500hr Dharma Yoga Training

I'm Sadie Leigh, an artist and yoga teacher born and raised in the DC/Metropolitan Area. Over the past three years, I've had the immense joy of diving deeper into the study of yoga. Since completing a 200 hour training program at Flow Yoga Center, I've continued to learn and grow by way of attending classes with my wonderful teachers, reading and discussing yogic texts, learning so much from my students, and perhaps most importantly, by trying to live my life with as much love and compassion as possible.

And now, I feel called to deepen my learning even more. The Dharma Yoga 500 hour Life of a Yogi training "is an opportunity for certified teachers to take an in-depth look at the entire sacred science of yoga through the lens of Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra’s experience with his Guru and his almost half century of practice and teaching." I hope to learn from Sri Dharma, and the other incredible teachers at the Dharma Yoga Center, and be able to return to DC (and who knows where else!) with that much more knowledge, understanding, and compassion, in order to offer yoga classes to better serve my students, my friends, my wonderful community.

I'm raising funds to supplement the cost of the application fee, tuition, required books & supplies, and travel costs for the portion of the training that takes place in New York.
