Sadie's Memorial Bench Fund

In June 2012 we sadly lost our little girl to a deadly childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma. She brought the community together with her bravery and courage. Sadie inspired each person she met. With the help of our local town and surrounding areas, we raised an amazing £400,000 which helped us travel to NYC for Sadie to receive pioneering treatment which was aimed to save her life. Unfortunately this wasn't meant to be...........
Since Sadie died we have been asked so many times if we are to be having anything placed in Kanresborough in memory of our gorgeous, brave, incredible, inspirational & courageous little girl. Well we have decided to place a hand carved bench at Bebra Gardens overlooking the children's paddling pool. The area is be landscaped to include Sadie's favourite coloured flowers.
We are working together with our local council and with the Friends of Bebra Gardens. This is still a work in progress and a final design has not yet been decided.
We have until Feb/March 2014 to raise £4000
(As the flowers need to be planted in enough time for them to blossom in Spring/Summer)
