Hi. I'm Sabrina Clark a senior at Saginaw Valley State University. My major is social work with a youth service minor. At SVSU, P.Y.N.C (phenomenally young negotiating change) and SSWO (Student Social Work Organization) are two campus organizations I participate in; as well as a volunteer PomPom coach at a local middle school teaching morals and empowering young ladies.
I am raising donations to study abroad May 22- June 8, 2014 in Kampala, Uganda (Africa). This is a faculty- led trip with SAGINAW VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY where I will learn more about the African culture; also I will have the most wonderful experience to volunteer at Nyaka AIDS Orphans School.
Study abroad is an ADVENTURE, which takes place every year at SVSU. Studying abroad enables you to see the world and learn about other cultures. As I study in Uganda, I will be learning in a classroom setting, and I'll also have the freedom and flexibility to travel around and experience the city and country.
It would be a great pleasure for you to donate and motivate me towards taking this eye opening journey to experience a different lifestyle.http://studyabroad.svsu.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Abroad.ViewLink&
