Summer 2015 Thailand Volunteer Trip

Hi, My name is Sabrina and I'm currently a junior at Texas Woman's University, studying nursing to become a neo-natal nurse in a few years. In the summer of 2015, my two roommates and I are volunteering to go to Thailand to help children, the community, and elephants for 21 days. While we're there, we will help improve the learning environments at schools for the students and also help villages and families in developing a sustainable standard of living in one of Thailand’s most underdeveloped regions since many people don't have access to quality drinking water and limited infrastructure that restricts their quality of life. Also, Thailand cares deeply for their elephants, which are sadly becoming endangered and we will be there to help in whatever is necessary to improve the lives of these beautiful creatures. This can all be made possible with some help from you as well. Our trip costs a total of $3,800 which does not include our flight to and from, insurance, or passport expenses.
