<div>Hi, my name is Ulrich, and I am a musician. But this story is about another musician and great human being.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My ex-wife and long-term musical partner Sabine has been suffering from a rare cancer tumor called a Leiomyosarcoma since 2014. 2 major surgeries later, her path of dealing with this aggressive cancer form has been existentially difficult. Being a musician as well, we kept performing in between treatments and surgeries, a very exhausting life.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After we stopped sharing our life in 2019, her life became quieter and more peaceful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2021, the tumor had shrunk considerably, and she was celebrating the good news.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For a while, I felt that her health story had taken a turn for the better, and I was so happy for her. Unfortunately, this turned out to be different.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, 5 years later, the tumor mass has become bigger than ever and poses a life-threatening risk. It's pushing away the main arteries and vital organs. She can hardly keep any food down and has lost a lot of weight. It really concerned me on my last visit this April 2026.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/102414823_1776273213791638_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No, this is not a baby belly, this is the size of the tumor!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Surgery is not an option. Chemotherapy is not an option with this type of sarcoma. It rarely responds. Radiation is also not possible because of the location of the tumor, it would damage vital organs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hope now is a series of Hyperthermia treatments. She has already undergone 2 of them, the 3rd one is about to start. The cost: EUR 6200 per round (see detailed breakdown below). None of this is covered by insurance. School medicine has given up on her situation. With this 3rd round, her funds, including family support, are running out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At our recent visit, she confided to me that she can't continue this treatment without help. So I asked her the following day if she'd be fine with me setting up a fundraiser on her behalf. She felt very relieved just thinking about it. She is a co-host here as well, but I don't want her to worry about anything while she is undergoing treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal is to win her more time and give her body a chance to accept this therapy and successfully shrink the tumor until the end of the year and beyond. One cycle lasts 8 weeks, so that means 3 more treatment cycles would be required in 2026, starting at the end of June.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As mentioned previously, the cost for one course of therapy is € 6200, including consultations (excluding living expenses, etc.).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The amount of the doctor's consultation and infusion supplies is included in the 6200 EUR and comes down to approximately 400 EUR. This means that the main expenses are the infusion ampoules themselves, which the patient must purchase directly from pharmacies in Germany.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The total expenses for the remaining year are EUR 18.600 and does not include any therapy beyond 2026. Update: we reached that goal within 26 hours thanks to all her supporters!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So that puts us into the position to raise a full 12 months of therapy costs for her!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>EUR 6200 x 7 = Goal Amount EUR 43,400</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal date for raising this amount is Friday, May 15. However, beyond securing Sabine's immediate medical expenses, the real hope is that the new therapy proves very successful, and that she can extend it until complete healing is established. So in that sense, the purpose of this fundraiser is also to gather Sabine's "Angel Brigade" that can be activated whenever needed in the future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each additional cycle will cost an additional EUR 6,200.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sabine wants nothing more than to spend more time on this earth with her beloved dog Lauser, who has been her emotional support and family since 2016. I want to help her so she can keep shining her light with music, art, and design.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let's give her hope and a real chance to win this battle.

<div>SABINE'S PERSONAL NOTE:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“However this whole story turns out, I am filled with deep gratitude every day, and the support of helpful people is giving me so much-needed confidence.”

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A course of therapy lasts 8 weeks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The first two rounds of her previous therapy included:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>3 x hyperthermia (also called heat or fever therapy)
</div>
<div>at €1,050 per cycle
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>+ 12 x high-dose intravenous vitamin C
</div>
<div>at €1,100 per cycle
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>+ 12 x high-dose intravenous mistletoe
</div>
<div>at €1,500 per cycle

<div>plus blood tests and doctor's consultations

<div><br />
</div>
<div>+/- €400 per cycle
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>TOTAL: €4,000 per cycle
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The third round, which she is currently undergoing, has been adapted because the tumors shrank slightly after the first round, but grew again after the second cycle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Therefore, the therapy has been expanded to include another high-dose infusion, and the cost per cycle has increased by
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>10 x high-dose intravenous turmeric cost €2,200.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Therefore, the TOTAL COSTS PER CYCLE now amount to €6,200.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All costs are documented with invoices.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to her financial situation, she had to forgo hyperthermia in the third cycle in order to reduce expenses to €5,200. Anything more was simply not feasible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her greatest wish is to be able to take advantage of the full package, at least for now, continuously until the end of the year—and she even dreams of being carried into next year.

<div>GERMAN TRANSLATION
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hier ist die Übersetzung ins Deutsche:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/102414823_1776678302859053_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/102414823_1776376119505893_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>EUR 6200 x 7 = Zielbetrag EUR 43,400</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
Jeder weitere Zyklus entspricht wiederum zusätzlichen 6200 EUR.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Eine Therapierunde dauert 8 Wochen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Die ersten zwei Runden ihrer bisherigen Therapie umfasste
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>zu € 1.050 pro Zyklus
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>+ 12 x hochdosiert Vitamin C intravenös
</div>
<div>zu € 1.100 pro Zyklus
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>+ 12 x hochdosiert Mistel (mistletoe) intravenös
</div>
<div>zu € 1.500 pro Zyklus
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>plus Blutbefund und Arztgespräche
</div>
<div>+/- € 400 pro Zyklus
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>SOMIT GESAMT € 4.000 pro Zyklus
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>10 x hochdosiert Kurkuma (turmeric) intravenös um
</div>
<div>€ 2.200 gestiegen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sämtliche Kosten sind mit Rechnungen belegbar.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
