Sa Neter Studios has served Millions of Viewers with video content on today’s most relevant issues with experts on our History, Culture, Language and Liberation Fight. I have learned while participating in the Black Movement with Dr. Khalid Muhammad and sitting at the feet of Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan that moments with our Greats and our people’s movements must be recorded as they happen. He began recording and selling videos on the 125th street where the Honorable Mossiah Garvey, Malcolm X, Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Adam Clayton Powell walked daily and on the same street as the Apollo Theater. In a community that was home to the famous Michaux Bookstore, Mosque #7, the Liberation bookstore, and the Great Theresa Hotel. For years, in front of the closed Mart 125, next to the Elder Dr. Jack Felder, and I braved the elements to provide the community with videos beginning on VHS then to DVDs. I then broadened the providing of the information to large public debates on pressing topics then to online media such as Youtube and Facebook and other media. Two years ago, he offered the first SaNeter TV Awards that was a polished production that I produced to be on the level of the BET Awards and events at the Apollo at the Symphony Space. For Years, I have watched the programming of the Greats of TV such as Gil Noble, Tony Brown and listened to radio personalities like Gary Byrd and has built an incredible skill level to find the issues and get to the point or find others who can expertly deal with complex topics. You can see the brilliance of his work in covering on location Crime, Police Raids, Murders and the covering of important events such as the Million Man Marches and Press Conferences.
Vision
My I Dream of educating and entertaining the community continues in 2020, where his new vision is to create a Public Space for a Studio Audience in Harlem. His vision is to create a space that we own and fund where it can be the home for a live Video Audiences, Education, Retail, Planning and Social Events for the entire Black Community. Hundreds of Thousands of People have participated in some way or fashion in the Making of the success of SaNeter Programming. Thousands of people have madethe pilgrimage from their Cities just to watch SaNeter’s shows on the streets in every weather condition. Thousands more have stopped and passed on the Weekends to hear the latest news or see Scholars and Teachers on 125th street as they have done for generations to hear Pork Chop Jones, Bro. Malcolm X, Moses Powell and others. Thousands more have come to the Great Debates hosted by SaNeter. The last debate was on Vaccines and it was the first Multi-Racial Audience of large numbers now the world is in chaos dealing with the same topic SaNeter Studios covered. The World’s hope now is in a Vaccine to cure or prevent the Corona Virus. If nothing else, this shows the importance of SaNeter’s vision to bring cutting edge information to our community. Our Vision is not limited to purchasing a building but at this present time a physical audience space will allow us to build momentum for a larger project of multiple studies, incubator stores and educational space. Our physical space will allow us to build the brand in a more consistent and professional way. More importantly, it will be a place in Harlem for Education and we in vision providing a safe space for our young ones as an Afterschool education and recreation space and lastly a place where the Elders can stop by and bond with the community.
