Angel’s Surgery

Meet Angel, a beautiful, sweet soul that we rescued from a kill pen in Bastrop, LA on January 12, 2021. She was injured roughly two years ago. A tendon was severed on her rear left leg preventing her from putting her foot in the normal walk position. She now walks on her toe. She’s been crippled from the injury and never fixed. Instead she was dumped at an auction  for money/meat. She was a direct ship to slaughter. By divine intervention and some miracle we saved her minutes before she was to be loaded onto a slaughter truck and headed to Mexico. We will repair her leg and give her a beautiful and happy life filled with love. Her only chance at survival is an extensive surgery to repair her leg and give her 4 legs again. It is a miracle she has made it this far. She is in the hospital prepping for surgery which will happen on February 11, 2021. We love her so much and look forward to giving her the life that she deserves. We see a bright future ahead of her and believe her story will help others. She is a bright light and an example of the power of love, compassion, trust and miracles.
