Hurricane Maria brought widespread destruction to the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Cuba, and many of the surrounding Carribean islands. The devastation left by the storm has left so many in the Carribean in desperation.
Puerto Rico still has more than half of its people without drinking water, homes are demolished, more than 50% of the roads are destroyed, and the lack of electricity and access have created an environment that is unimaginable. Other Carribean islands are facing the same struggles and we need to work to support them.
Capital Health will match whatever we are able to raise up to $5k! While I seldom reach out for such matters this is a cause that is dear to my heart and I would appreciate any contribution. I will donate all funds to the American Red Cross on October 26. Please help me meet my goal of $5k!
