Hello, I’m starting this GoFundMe in high hopes it will help my dad (AJ Conn) and make things a little easier. My dad got injured on a job site on May 15th, 2025. He started a workers' comp claim but has yet to receive any benefits. The company he worked for terminated him after he started his claim and was unable to perform his job duties. The doctor appointments have been non-stop, sometimes 2 to 4 times a month. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He was diagnosed with L-3, L-4, and L-5 lower back injuries. It has been a rough and bumpy road for him. He has always been the type to give the shirt off his back to help others, including doing many things for me and my sisters. This is something that I can pray and hope he finds the right people to help him out. His doctor has written him off work until December 1st at this time, but it could end up longer if he doesn’t receive the medical care that is requested soon. My dad has tried to keep up with bills and provide for my family as long as he could with what he had and what he saved up. My dad is a worker and has worked many years in construction and lawn care. Now that he's getting behind with everything, he's kind of giving up hope. Things have only gotten worse for the family as his wife recently broke the news she is soon to lose her job due to the business shutting its doors at the end of this month. My dad is not one to ask for help, but I am for his sake and feel he could use all the help he can get at the moment. Anything helps, even a quick share so others can bless him with these burdens. One last thing I want to share about my dad is he is currently doing a little fundraiser to help out with an elementary school safety patrol. He has and will do anything to help someone else in need. For this, I feel it’s time for him to receive a blessing of need. Thank you and God bless
