Sawyer Strong

Sawyer and his whole family are the strongest, most brave people that I know. Sawyer is a six year old little fighter who has achieved so much in his life. Sawyer was very young he when was diagnosed with Joubert Syndrome. Sawyer was a year old when his family found out that his kidneys were not working the way that they should. Slowly over the next several years he started going through the stages of kidney failure. As Sawyer, his mom, dad, and two older brothers have reached this final stage of his life there has been a deep outpouring of love shown to this amazing family. Many people have asked what they can do to help this family and with the permission of Kat and Jaromy (Sawyer's parents) we have decided to start this page for them. The family would also appreciate your prayers as they go through this impossible time.

Any money raised will go directly to their family and will be used as they see fit. Sawyer's medical needs are being met through Hospice and Akron Children's Palliative Care team. Jaromy is the family's main source of financial income and we would like to be able to help when the time comes that Sawyer is no longer with us to ease their financial burden and allow Jaromy take the time he needs to grieve. If you feel compelled to donate please know that you are helping them enjoy this time with Sawyer by lessening the financial strain they are and continue to face as they focus their time and energy on their family.
