Send the SA Clubhouse to Denver

Since its founding in 2003, the San Antonio Clubhouse has been providing hope and recovery for people diagnosed with mental illness. 

This October, the Clubhouse has a unique opportunity. We were invited to give three presentations on technology at this year’s Clubhouse International Seminar in Denver, Colorado:

·         A workshop on "Effective Clubhouse Data Management Systems"

·         A workshop on "New Horizons in Reachout"

·         A workshop on "The Cutting Edge: Technology Infusing Energy and Efficiency into the Clubhouse"

Our goal is to help clubhouses everywhere integrate technology into their communities to make it easier to capture data, analyze their effectiveness, stay in touch with members, find employment, learn new skills, and connect to resources. 

We consider this invitation a high honor and a testament to the work we are doing here in San Antonio, and are eager to share our best practices with the 330+ clubhouses from all over the world.

We hope to send four representatives from the SA Clubhouse who have experience with the subject matter we are presenting. The costs are as follows:

·         Registration: $1,150 per person

·         Fuel, food, lodging, miscellaneous travel expenses: $450 per person

All told, we need $6,400 to send the SA Clubhouse to Denver and we want to reach our goal by next Wednesday, October 7.
