Supporting Liz Harris Unexpected Cancer Diagnosis

Hi, my name is Erin Mosley. I am starting this fundraiser to help my best friend, Crystal Watts who will be financially supporting her mom Lizabeth (Liz) Harris.

Liz was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.

Liz Harris was admitted to the hospital April 24, 2023. Liver and Pancreatic masses were seen on her initial CT scan and MRI.

Biopsies were obtained and after two (2) unsuccessful attempts to place a stent in her Pancreatic bile duct. (for bile to flow through and to help improve her jaundice (yellow appearance). A drain was placed April 27th to help drain the bile and fluid backing up from her pancreas and liver. Doctors say the drain will stay in for a couple weeks and then hopefully a stent can be placed. On May 1st, pathological reports confirmed what oncology highly suspected. Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. They are absolutely heartbroken receiving this unexpected news. Liz was discharged from the hospital May 4th.

May 11th they will follow up with oncology to discuss next steps and what to except with chemotherapy.

With Liz's unexpected diagnoses she will no longer be able to work and unable to financially support herself. Liz was working up to 6 days a week and has worked for everything she has.

Crystal will be financially supporting her mom. They are waiting on her disability/medicaid and financial assistance to process.

At this time, the family is under a lot of stress and emotionally devastated. As more information comes available we will keep this page updated.

All money raised will go directly towards Liz's medical expenses and everyday bills.
