Help save Charlie the good boy!

Charlie is a very special little guy. He had a really rough start in life, chained up in a backyard in Trenton, NJ. My brother and father had enough of seeing him that way and rescued him. For about 4 years now my father has cared for Charlie and loved him more than he’s ever loved anything in life. He has fallen on some hard times, has been out of work for a while, and a few days ago, his landlord took Charlie and released him in a cemetery in Hamilton, NJ. He was picked up and taken to the shelter. My father is currently staying at a place where he is absolutely not able to keep Charlie. It had broken his heart to give him up. 

I have found an amazing foster for him, but Charlie needs help. Initially, we thought it was just routine costs like bailing him out of doggie jail, getting him up to date on shots and neutered. Things quickly took a turn at his first vet visit. Charlie has infected ears, an infection in his penis, hookworms, and some bad teeth. He is on IV fluids and antibiotics and is due for an Xray tomorrow to see how bad some of his other issues are. The vet suspects pancreatitis. While we are doing our best, we simply can not afford to pay for all of the care he needs. 

Charlie’s amazing foster mama has incurred upwards of $300 for just his first visit, and now she needs to treat her other dogs for hookworm as well.
We have no idea what costs are heading our way to save Charlie but we are begging you to consider donating anything you can.

Charlie is a very, very sweet boy. He immediately bonded with their family and made friends with the other pups. He really, truly deserves a chance to get well and be loved through the rest of his days. Anything you can donate would go towards giving a very good doggo a third chance at life. ❤️
