Wildlands Defense (WLD) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization working tirelessly to protect habitat for the native flora, fauna, and keystone species that hold living landscapes in place. WildLands Defense takes an empowering approach towards saving the living world and recognizes that the mainstream enviromental community has largely been unsuccesful in repairing natural communities. Every single biotic community on the planet is in rapid decline. WLD understands that our tactics and strategies must change if the health of the living world is to rebound.
WLD has worked closely with wolves, bison, sage grouse, pinion pine and juniper, trout, and water protections with a focus on the root cause of their decline, the ranching/livestock industry. During the past year, WLD has ensured the survival of hundreds of prairie dogs when all other organizations told us that it could not be done. WLD set strong examples to developers and exterminators of prairie dogs that their actions will not be tolerated or go unnoticed. It is the intention and goal of WLD to change polices and put protections in place that will ensure the survival of numerous animal and plant species that have been increasingly annihilated by livestock and development interests.
WLD depends heavily on our supporters and we need your contributions and membership to help us continue with our work. The dedicated activists of WLD have put in countless hours of work into saving what is left of our living planet. We can no longer sit by idly and watch all that we love leave our one and only home and slip into the longest night of extinction. Please support us in helping us make long lasting systemic changes to the way we approach the living world and all of the intricate pieces that help hold our wild communities together.
Wildlands Defense is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductable.
Thank you for your continued support.
