In December of 2016, Cynthia was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Being that Cynthia always watched what she ate and took pride in being healthy, this news came as a complete shock to both Cynthia and her family.
At only 42 years of age, being diagnosed wtih colon cancer was unexpected for Cynthia. As tests went on to determine the severity of her illness, it was discovered that the cancer was also in her liver and lungs.
Cynthia has undergone many treatments of chemotherapy. As many of you know, chemotherapy is very hard on the body. Bouts of nausea and countless days confined to a bed are the norm for Cynthia.
In an attempt to heal and rid her body of cancer, Cynthia is turning to Chinese medicine. Though the chemotherapy has helped, it has done little in the past 8 months. Therefore, Cynthia is willing to try any and all treatments that may help to prolong her life, if not, cure her illness.
Cynthia has two young children and her main goal is to fight and win this battle so that she can be there for her girls for many years to come.
All donations will go to help Cynthia pay for the treatment she will receive. Any amount, big or small, will help as this can be a lengthy and pricey process.
