Care for Kai

As some of you may know my grandson Kai was born in China on November 17, 2020. At two weeks old he was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and while in the hospital contracted an e-coli infection. He was released December 13th with a bill of $2000 and on December 14th he had to be taken back to hospital.

This time my son Derek and daughter-in-law Molly took him to a private hospital and the doctors there believe he has pneumonia, an e-coli infection and now meningitis caused by the e-coli infection. The hospital bill will be much larger. My daughter-in-law is able to stay with him this time, of course at an additional cost.

As you can imagine as new parents this is an extremely difficult time for Derek and Molly, as they make the best decisions for their baby boy, Kai.

It is with a heavy heart that at this time we ask for your financial support if at all possible, to help Derek and Molly afford the care that Kai desperately needs in order to bring their son home.
