Jamie Brown's Section 37

Jamie was terminated from his job just shy of his 13 year anniversary.  This is not your typical “pass around the hat for the guy who lost his job go fund me” 

Jamie was terminated in a strange and vague situation that should have been defended by his union.  Instead they have called him a liar and have blocked his access to be defended.  Jamie cannot hire a lawyer to defend his job because, contrary to popular belief, as a union member, the only defence you can legally have is from your union.

Jamie has now decided to pursue a complaint against the union with the government asking that the union be forced to do their job.  Jamie has hired his own legal assistance to help his complaint be heard

It seems that not many battles are being fought by our union anymore, even the most ridiculous ones such as Jamie’s.  Because of this, we are looking for financial support to see this complaint have the proper legal support it deserves. 

You likely know of someone who has lacked defense from our union or you likely have seen how dysfunctional our union leadership seems to be right now.  If this is the case please consider this as a petition to our leadership to start working for its members again.  The more resources provided to this cause the more our leadership will realize that they are not being democratically functional.
