Hello, my name is Connie, I am asking for friends and family to share this with everyone. This GoFundMe is for my best friend and sister in Christ, Sandy Chandler.
Here is what happened...
Sandy, is an avid runner, she has done plenty of marathons, 5k's and so on. She moved back to New Hampshire to be with her family, kids and grandkids about 5 years ago. Late October, Sandy was doing her normal run and in a matter of seconds, she tripped and fell and rolled down a large hill. She busted her knee up and was told that she had a concussion. She has since found out through several tests, that she has a brain injury that is causing her vision problems, cognitive problems and more. She has been taken off of work due to the fact that she is limited on driving, and being able to remember things. I could go on and on about the problems that she is facing mentally, physically and emotionally, the fact of the matter is that her recovery now has been extended to a minimum of 6 months, and that's not a guarantee that she will have a full recovery.
I am asking you to find it in your heart to help Sandy with any donation amount that you feel led to do. She has no income, she is ineligible for unemployment or short term disability and she can't get any assistance from NH for a year because her last paystubs show that she made to much money. Now she has ZERO income, her savings is depleted and the bills are piling up. Family and friends near and far have been by her side and helping her along the way. She is so grateful that she has them by her side. She needs more help! She has rent and utilities due in January, her medical insurance premiums are due, she has asthma and needs to get her medication, she has PT and OT therapy regularly, and the hospital bills are starting to come in.
