Cancer Sucks!

It's one of the hardest things you'll ever have to hear... You have cancer. The love of my life, my wife, had to hear those words, and not just any cancer. She has been diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma or LMS.
You may not have heard of LMS before - I know I hadn't. It's a rare type of cancer that grows in the smooth muscles of the body, such as the intestines, stomach, bladder, blood vessels, and the uterus. A scan revealed a tumor about the size of a grapefruit (12.4 cm) and that 6.8 cm of that was malignant.
The doctor believes she was able to remove it all, but said that with this type of cancer, it's a 50/50 chance it could return. We have insurance, but this is a lot more than insurance will cover. To make matters worse, the company I work for has temporarily shut down. So with me being out of work for the past few weeks, it’s going to make it hard to get through this.
I hate to ask for help, but I'm afraid I don't have much of a choice here. Anything you can do to help would be most appreciated.
