I am Carol Smith, the volunteer remedial teacher at a Centre for children in crisis and girls who have been sexually abused. We want to build an income generating project to fund this home school.
The money raised through this campaign will go towards buying, a jumping castle, popcorn and candy floss machines, as well as building a mini golf course. We have been offered the use of land and facilities within the grounds of a restaurant in town. We plan to employ girls who have been through our vocational training at the Centre to help run the project. This will provide job opportunities in a country that has 95% unemployment.
All the profits will pay for uniforms and shoes, stationery, sports and music equipment, text books, puzzles and art and craft supplies. It will also cover salaries for the teacher and those working at the play area.
