S FL helping Texas animals in need!

In the wake of hurricane Harvey myself {Jennifer Dachton}, friends and neighbors were trying to figure out how we in S Florida could help. With in less then a few hours we have teamed up with Paw Patrol Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and came up with a plan! Load up my truck and trailer and drive to Texas with gathered donations. We are now collecting all kind of animal donations and water at over 20 different loactions in the Tri county area.
So on Monday September 4th we will be loading my truck and trailer with the first load of supplies and heading to Texas.
From the Fort Lauderdale area to the Dallas area it is over 1300 miles one way (over 2600 miles round trip) and about 23 hours pulling a large trailer one way if we drive straight through. The funds raised in this Go Fund Me will be to cover fuel, tolls, food and any extra travel expences for the first of many loads of donations to Texas.
We are also working on being able to bring back 10 to 15 dogs in need of homes as well on this trip. This will help free much needed space for dogs and animals that will be flowing into the shelters once the flood water recede.

I would just like to add how we came up with $1500 number. Considering we raise the full $1500 go fund me take about 8% and then .30 cents off every donation. So we will end up with about $1300 towards our trip.
Tolls for 4 axels out of Florida is about $40 one way so $80 round trip, its about 1350 miles from the loading point to the fist drop off point (there is 2 one for dog/cat donations and 1 for horse and livestock about an hour apart) so about 2800 miles round trip at 10 miles per gallon (deisel truck pulling a large full inclosed trailer) and at $2.75 per gallon (I Hope it stays at $2.75) is $770 in fuel.
$1300- $770-$80= $450 left over.
There is 3 of us going for 5 to 6 days
the remaining $450 will be used for food and any added travel expences (example: Blown tire around $90 to $250 depending on truck or trailer).
Any additional money that is left over will go towards the second or third delivery of donations to Texas.
