Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

On New Year’s Day, our lives were forever changed when our beloved Rylei Williams, a 14-year-old freshman at Cesar Chavez High School, was struck by a car while crossing the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Vineyard on his skateboard. The accident left him fighting for his life with severe injuries, including brain trauma, fractures to his right tibia, fibula, and humerus, and other critical conditions.

Rylei is currently in Phoenix Children's Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation recovering from numerous surgeries and TBI. While he remains incontinent, and unable to care for himself independently—-we hold onto hope and faith that he will recover, but the road ahead is long and uncertain.

•	Medical Expenses: Despite insurance, the costs of surgeries, intensive care, and treatments for his brain injury are immense.

•	Rehabilitation & Therapy: Once stable, Rylei will require extensive physical therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and specialized care.

•	Home Adjustments: We will need to adapt our home with medical equipment and accessibility modifications to accommodate his recovery.

•	Family Support: We’ve had to take time off work to be by Rylei’s side, adding financial strain on top of everything else.
