Over The past few months I've really been working on me and my relationship with God, in being intentional in everything I do, and to stop doing what I want and what I think I need and listening to him and being obedient in what he is calling me to do.
God has blessed me with in so many ways and with opportunities to serve and to do to what I love, even if it wasn't in the ways I expected. Recently I started to doubt myself and my abilities to lead or to lead well in children's ministry or at youth and I began to get discouraged and didn't really know what to do, but I know that God has always called me to work in children's ministry and with youth, but he's also called me to missions. So on Sunday night I was given an opportunity to join this mission to Burkina Faso, West Africa with Walk in the light International, and I looked at my friends and laughed and went "you're joking right? I can't go to Africa?" And after a LOT of praying and encouragement from my friends and family I've decided to go for it! It literally seems impossible because I'd have to raise around $4100 and about $1500 in the next two weeks, but I know with God all things are possible, and that if this is something he wants me to do he'll provide.
God called me to quit my job and he provided a new one, to serve at a camp that I could barely afford to go to and he provided me with the funds to be able to go, and reguardless of what the voices in my head might tell me, I know he will always provide for me.
So I'm taking this leap and I'm going to try! Because honestly, what do I have to lose?
If you'd like to support me in anyway possible wether it's through financial help, doing odd jobs, or just Praying!!!(please pray for me anyway cause I'm gonna need all the help I can get haha)
In order for me to follow all of the deadlines I have to turn in $300 by the end of the week and $1200 by the 20th of September!!
