The Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) is a five-day competition in which schools across North America design, construct, and race five-men toboggans with a running surface made of concrete. GNCTR is a great opportunity that allows students to meet others, learn technical skills, and advance as an engineering student.
The Ryerson Engineering Concrete Toboggan Team (RECTT) joined GNCTR over a decade ago. Since then, RECTT has established itself as a top contender against 30+ North American Universities. Some of our accomplishments include:
For the 2019 GNCTR competition, we are looking to bring a team of 30 people to Edmonton. In addition to raising funds to cover the cost of building the toboggan, we are also looking to cover the costs to transport our team which is why we are asking for your assistance!
By sponsoring our team, you are directly contributing to the growth of each member and the legacy that we leave behind for future engineers. On Behalf of the entire Ryerson Engineering Concrete Toboggan Team, we greatly appreciate all donations and thank you for your support.
