Ryder's Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
Ryder tripped over his leash when a dog came after him and landed funky on his arm. He fractured his humerus oblique. He’ll need plates and screws inserted in his arm. We spent all day long talking to vet clinics trying to find a place to admit him for surgery. We finally found a place an hour way that would be able to help him. He had three shots and got hooked up to an IV for the weekend to stabilize him, get the swelling down, manage his pain and get him into surgery on Monday. I'm so thankful I found them. If I couldn't find baby Ryder help, he would've had to get put down. I've had him since he was a puppy, and he's been my emotional support dog for the past 4 years ever since. Any help would be appreciated. It's been a long day, and I know it's only the first one for weeks and months to come while he recovers.
Update: Surgery came and went. He’s now home recovering. It’s be 8 weeks before he can fully function and walk normally again.
