WE NEED TO RECONNECT OUR COMMUNITIES WITH THOSE THAT HAVE SACRIFICED FOR US.
Everyone is aware of the difficult life our service members, first responders, and their families face because of the nature of their work but almost no one truly understands it. Depression, loneliness, uselessness. These are just a few of the emotions we have all felt, but they are all wrought on by disconnection. Even though we live in a world that is "connected" we have never been more disconnected, especially from those who have served our country and communities. This must change! A major contribution to the recovery of PTS and depression comes from connecting with those around us. Sitting and just talking, face to face. So what's the plan?
Utilizing vintage aircraft and local airports I plan to give rides to anyone who's willing to experience the Golden Age of Aviation. You can have the chance to ride and possibly take the controls of a vintage aircraft. While you're doing this you'll be contributing to a "day of reconnection" with your communities heroes which could get you the chance to meet those in your community who have served you.
This is a unique opportunity to help those who have served you. Not only will you get to ride in an amazing aircraft, you'll know that you're contributing to something bigger than yourself. Something that will benefit another, as well as yourself.
