Ryan's Summer Wish

"I want to be an inventor.  I want to invent something that makes a difference in the world someday.  Whenever I have freetime, I like to create and build.  That is just who I am!"

My son Ryan is hoping to attend a one-week STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program at Loyola University in Chicago this summer. He was nominated for his leadership skills, creativity and scholarship merit.  Ryan is THRILLED about this possibility as he feels this could be "a once-in-a-lifetime experience"! He fell asleep holding the invitation the day he received it.  

Ryan knows I do not have the money to send him to the program, but he asked me if I could try somehow to see if he could attend.

Now, more than ever, as a single mom, I am realizing that it "takes a village to raise a child ".  Will you help me make "Ryan's Summer Wish" come true and be a part of his "helping village"?

 Here is a link to the program Ryan is hoping to attend. The reality is that registration is filling up and I can't register him without a down payment of $499. I am hoping to move quickly (by April 15th) if possible.
