On June 21st 2025, the longest day of the year, I will be taking part in the Chase The Sun Ireland event. I will cycle 336km, setting off from Belfast at sunrise, and chasing the sun to Enniscrone in Co. Sligo.

I am cycling to raise funds for The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The cycle rolls out at 04.46 from the Titanic Docks in Belfast and the goal is to reach Enniscrone on the west coast by the evening, covering 336km and 3100m of elevation.

I have chosen to raise funds for the Irish Guide Dogs as I have visited their headquarters in Ballincollig and seen the amazing work they do. Their guide dogs and assistance dogs are highly trained and as a result empower people to participate safely and confidently in their communities.

I am looking forward to the challenge on June 21st, and would appreciate any donations to this worthy cause!
