Kidney Transplant

I have date set for my kidney transplant! It is March 15th. I am raising funds to help my kidney donor (my brother Steve) pay his bills during the time he is on leave from work and if there’s enough, to cover the time I’m required to stay in St. Louis after I’m out of the hospital in case of organ rejection.
Some history of why transplant is necessary:
I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease in the fall of 2016 due to an autoimmune disease called igA nephropathy. It’s supposed to be slow and predictable but I have a rare progression that caused me to decline in health incredibly fast and was stage 5 (ESRD) by October. I’ve been on dialysis since that January and I’ve come close to not pulling through at all several times due to complications of which there have been many. I’ve been unable to work, spend the time and energy with my son I should, dedicate the time to all the relationships in my life I should, and generally lead a normal life. Dialysis is a 3-4 day a week, 4 hours long treatment that requires an additional hour or so for hooking up and disconnecting. It’s very hard on you physically as your body isn’t designed to have so much removal and returning of blood in such a short amount of time in addition to the fluids that must be removed and requires very strict dietary restrictions including only being able to drink 32 ounces of fluid a day.
Any funds raised will go:
-First to making sure my donor’s bills are paid.
-Second (assuming there’s more than what covers his bills) to paying for lodging in St. Louis for me after the surgery as after the 5 days or so I’m in the hospital I’m required to stay in the St. Louis area for two weeks minimum for frequent tests to make sure I don’t reject the kidney.
-Third for assistance with boarding my dog while I’m in the hospital and in St. Louis as that expense adds up very quickly.
Any help you can provide will be very appreciated and will help me live a more normal life again and help someone who has given me that life back with their selfless donation.
