Hi Everyone,

On Saturday 8th March, I will be running 30km around Sydney to raise funds for KBRT in memory of our friend Ryan Straney. As many of you know, we lost Ryan last year in Australia and the KBRT were instrumental in returning Ryan to his family in Ireland and supporting them through this unimaginable loss.

As we approach the one year anniversary of Ryan’s heartbreaking passing, I have chosen this distance to coincide with my 30th birthday - a milestone which used to scare me but I now realize is a privilege.

It was impossible not to like Ryan, his cheeky smile or bold sense of humour. Ryan was so widely adored by everyone who crossed his path and left a lasting impression on them, whether it was with his relentless sleggings, his fiercely competitive nature or his total kindheartedness. There is not a day goes by we don't think about him.

Any donation no matter how big or small will make a difference to this incredible charity and the difficult work they continue to do.
