Ryan P Nelson, "RyeGuy" as he was known to his friends, passed suddenly on Jan 21, 2018 at the age of 40.
RyeGuy was full of joy and energy. He was the life of the party, always laughing and always carrying a smile on his face. He was the glue that held various groups of friends together; always making new friends but never forgetting the old ones. If you needed something, you could always count on Ryan to be there. He was a devoted father, passionate angler and avid Mizzou fan. Ryan, you are deeply missed by all.
Although this chapter has ended, his legacy lives on. Ryan leaves behind a wife and two beautiful young kids (3) and (5). Hopefully the pain we all feel now will diminish but the struggles for this young family will surely last.
The purpose of the Ryan P. Nelson Memorial Fund is to help ease the burden on his wife and children as they grow up without him. 100% of the funds will be used for the necessities of daily life. If we all work together, the generosity of his family, friends, and community may even provide enough to help start a college fund in the future.
