The Milligan Family

To say the last couple months have been hard on the Milligan Family is an understatement.

 

Ryan’s wife, due to personal and health issues, has had to relocate to Abbotsford to get help for herself and in her pregnancy. Ryan took a couple weeks off to get everyone settled, then returned home to Golden, BC. His younger children (ages 1&3) have been living with Ryan’s family in Sicamous, so that Ryan could continue to work to support his family. Ryan was making trips back and forth during the weekend to visit.

 

A couple weeks ago on the way to work, a deer jumped out in front of Ryan and hit their family vehicle. During the same week, he tested positive for covid.

 

He had just got out of his isolation period and tried going to work Monday morning (September 20th), where he felt short of breath. He went home early and shortly after found himself at the hospital in Golden, seeking help.

 

From there, he got intubated and airlifted to the Kelowna Hospital to be placed on oxygen in the ICU. He hasn’t been awake since Golden. He currently has tubes down his throat, and is being given medication to keep him sedated.

 

He is in very critical condition with his lungs.

 

He is a Dad of three & with one on the way. He is our brother. He is a son. We need you to pray healing over him. Send words of encouragement.

 

We have started this Go Fund Me to help him, and his family. To make their current financial state the least of their worries. Any money donated will go to the Milligan Family to help them get through this difficult time.
