A year ago my brother Ry lost the feeling in his hands. He went to the doctor and they told him it was carpal tunnel. This made it difficult for his line of work (construction) but he pushed through and continued to work. Months later he lost the feeling in his feet causing him to lose his balance and he experienced quite a few falls which led to him going to the doctor again. This time they did a MRI and found many lesions on his brain as well as some swelling. He was transported by ambulance the same day to St. Cloud. On November 8th they did a brain biopsy in St. Cloud and sent the sample to the Mayo Clinic. He was told that the results would take 2 days to 2 weeks. After having the biopsy, Ry lost the mobility of his right leg, causing him to use a walker to get around. He also had experienced trouble swallowing, which led to another MRI in Brainerd that was sent to the doctor in St. Cloud. After 8 weeks of waiting we found out the test results were inconclusive. So unfortunately the doctor wants to do another brain biopsy January 14th and hopefully we will get some results. 


It has been a stressful and emotional time. Ryan has not been able to work since losing the feeling in his feet and does not know when he will be able to return to work, if ever. In the meantime the bills have been piling up. 

So feeling helpless inspired me to do the GoFundMe page. The stress of money should not be a factor in this situation. There is so much healing that needs to take place, so taking some of the stress away can only HELP Ryan! I have been praying everyday and welcome your prayers also!
