Ryan Burroughs- Family Fund

Around 3am on December 6th, Ryan Burroughs was traveling on I-664 in Chesapeake, VA. He had stopped on the side of the road to help another vehicle that had crashed into the jersey wall. While parked, Ryan’s truck was struck by another vehicle, causing his truck to overturn and land on top of him. Ryan was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with major life-threatening injuries. Sunday evening, Ryan was not responding to any stimulation. Monday morning, a brain scan was completed and sadly the doctors told the family that the trauma to his brain was too much for him to handle and that Ryan wasn’t going to make it. Ryan was hurt trying to help someone in need and he is going to continue on helping others by donating his organs to those who need them. Ryan just got married on October 31st, to the woman of his dreams, Alison. The amount of love he had for her was out of this world. Ryan is also leaving behind two children, Wyatt (5) and Thalia (3) as well as two stepchildren, Mikki (19) and Kannon (11) This GoFundMe me was created to help his family during this extremely hard time. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Ryan’s wife, Alison to help in anyway possible.
